The Knights of Saint Andrew (KSA) is a service body within a Valley composed of members who have not yet attained the recognition level of KCCH (Knight Commanders of the Court of Honor, or Red Hat)  or the 33rd Degree (White Hat).  These “Black Hats” serve the Valley through various activities, and the KSA serves as a vehicle for newer members to assume Valley leadership.   The KSA of the Valley of Franklin is particularly active, with virtually all members in the Valley being active or past KSA members.
